Innerbloom Doula Institute was built on a simple idea: doulas deserve training that matches the seriousness of the work they're walking into. The program offers a triple certification bundle covering birth doula, postpartum doula, and childbirth educator, all with lifetime access and no renewal fees.

The course is built around what actually happens with real families, not just textbook scenarios. Business training is woven in from the start so graduates know how to get booked, build a client base, and sustain a career in birthwork. With over 200 graduates and six certifications expanding this year, Innerbloom is setting the standard for what it means to be truly prepared before you ever walk into a birth room, a postpartum home, or a childbirth education class.

Meet Krystil

I was three years into my doula career, had supported almost 200+ families, and I still couldn't advocate for my own birth.

I watched my son breathe on a ventilator in the NICU after a failed induction turned emergency cesarean. The homebirth midwife I hired dropped me from her care over a text message. I was coerced, manipulated, berated, and assaulted during my own birth experience.

And I was supposed to be the one who knew better.

That was the moment everything I thought I knew about birthwork fell apart. Because this work was never about hip squeezes and affirmation cards. It was about advocacy. Leadership. Becoming the kind of person who can hold her ground when it matters most. And if I, with my experience and my fire, could be silenced... what chance did a brand-new doula have?

So I went on a mission to fix it. And I built something that didn't exist.

Why Innerbloom?

Over 8 years, I took six different trainings. Read over 100 birthy books. Listened to countless podcasts. Dissected over 1,000 clinical studies. Mentored 150+ doulas. Built 5 businesses and hit multi-six-figure milestones along the way. Not because I had something to prove, but because I was obsessed with getting it right.

And somewhere between the research rabbit holes and the 2am birth calls, I realized the training I was looking for didn't exist. So naturally, I did the very chill and totally reasonable thing and built it myself with a 2yo & 4mo in tow.

2,000+ hours later, and an ocean's worth of caffeine later, Innerbloom was born.

Innerbloom isn't a program you log into and figure out alone. It's mentorship & community. It's someone in your corner who has been in the room, built the business, made the mistakes, and turned all of it into a training so you don't have to learn the hard way like I did. And DANG was it hard! Still sweating thinking about it tbh.

The Woman Behind The Training

Native New Yorker. Wife. Mom to the two best kids to ever grace this planet, and yes, I am fully aware that every mom says that but it’s true.

Before birthwork, I was a corporate tech sales baddie with a few side hustles. Business coach, life coach, event planner, reiki master, yoga teacher. Casual....

Somewhere between the corporate grind and my fifth business, I realized the doula industry was my soul's purpose & needed to be shaken up, so I did that instead.

Hubs & I have visited 55 countries and counting. I was picked out of the audience at Sea World to sit on Shamu when I was 5. I love the smell of bacon but cannot stomach it (ex-vegan). A bit witchy. A little bitchy when I don't get min 6 hours of sleep.

People who meet me in person are always surprised that I am short and actually very funny (their words btw).

Did I mention yet that I could eat pizza for every meal?

You're never alone in this. Not during training, not after certification, not when you're sitting in a parking lot before you support your first client wondering if you’ve got the chops to do this work.

I have coached hundreds of women through building businesses and finding their confidence long before I ever stepped into birthwork.

Mentorship isn't something I tacked onto this program… It's the reason I'm good at this. I will push you. I will hype you up. I will hold your hand while I’m painfully honest with you. And I will be there. Every doula deserves that level of commitment and sisterhood from their training.
