Meet the creator & founder

I'm so stoked you're here. If you don't know me, I am the CEO & lead trainer of Innerbloom Doula Institute where we train women to become lifetime certified birth doulas, postpartum doulas and childbirth educators. We have trained over 200 doulas in 18 months & are making huge waves in the doula training space!

I've been a birthworker since I took my first training in 2018 and I can honestly say the hardest thing I had to learn how do to was create a childbirth education course for my clients!

 

So what did I do? I purchased one from a doula training organization... and unfortunately what I received was a mish-mosh of unteachable slides that had no flow.. and no personality. So I took matters into my own hands.

 

I spent more than 200 hours developing a curriculum based on feedback from 100's of expecting families, tons of research on teaching styles, evidence and research, and developed what is now known as the Innerbloom Curriculum.

Over 8 years, I have supported over 1,000 expecting families, and teaching childbirth education classes to over 5,000 families worldwide with some iteration of this course.
